This decision follows the earlier dismissal of the chief executive officers of these organizations.

The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, conveyed the directive, instructing the affected directors to hand over their responsibilities to the most senior officers in their respective directorates immediately.

The affected agencies include the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Nigeria Meteorological Agency (NiMET), Nigeria Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), and the Nigeria Safety and Investigation Bureau (NSIB).

The government states that this action is aimed at repositioning the aviation industry and ensuring a safe and efficient air travel experience for Nigerians, aligning with the agenda of President Bola Tinubu.
