BREAKING: Former ‘President’ Dies In Nigeria
Chief Alaba Lawson, a former National President of the Nigeria Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) and the Iyalode of Yorubaland, has passed away.
This sad news was announced today through a statement released in Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State, by Maku Abdul Rahaman, the Executive Secretary of the Ogun Chambers of Commerce, Industry Mines and Agriculture.

At the time of her passing, she also held the title of Iyalode of Egbaland and served as the Chairman of the Ogun State-owned Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta.
Chief Alaba Lawson was a prominent figure in politics, a distinguished entrepreneur, and a respected academic. She was born on January 18, 1951, in Abeokuta.
