13/10/2021
Dear Sir,
AN OPEN LETTER TO HONOURABLE I.G POLICE
I wish to bring to your notice a personal experience being perpetrated by some of your officers at the Nigerian Police Station, Alagbon Lagos in respect of S.P Tina ASEMOTA AND A.S.P HAPPINESS OGBONNA, Fraud Department F.C.I.D Alagbon.
Same time on the 2nd of March 2021, I received an invitation letter at the fraud unit to appear for a case of Breaking and entry and conduct to likely Breach of public peace.
And at which I appeared but to my surprise I stated my position as the first son in the family and that those that brought this matter are my father’s staff i.e. Mr. Samuel Otomola a manager and Sunday Adekeye P.A. to my father.
Prior to this period, my father has been hospitalized since early December 2020, not to the knowledge of me being his first son but when my father got into a coma. I was called to come and meet him in-coma at the ripe age of 96 years. Getting to the hospital I signed all documents to place him in a life-saving machine from 21st of December 2020 up until I was invited to the police station for these charges to get me out of their way before my father passed-on, on 24/3/2021.
While I appeared at the FCID Alagbon 23/3/2021 I was called by the same people that petitioned against me that my father as passed on, but I could not appear at the hospital to see the last of my father.
Ever since, the same set of people as being have hijacked all my father’s properties and management away from we the Children of my father. With their report at the FCID and investigation carried out, we were advised to proceed to court, if any parties feel aggrieved.
With this conclusion, I proceeded to court and file a suit against all the parties involved in the collaboration against us.
But to my surprise, this staff of my father kept on using S.P TINA ASEMOTA OF FCID Alagbon harass and intimidate me in my father’s premises and have to claim that they had seen our fathers will that had not yet been read to the members of the family and at the same time threatening me and restricting my movement and restriction to my father’s office premises and of which the premises, houses my company office as well, this to my surprise is not what a noble police officer should involve herself, even up to the extent of being assaulted by this 2 of my father’s staffs in the name of Mr Sunday Adekeye and Samuel Otomola and I have to report the matter to the nearest police station (LADIPO POLICE STATION) Mushin Lagos but with the support of S.P TINA ASEMOTA of Nigeria Police Alalgbon, this two people that assaulted me has refused to show up upon invitation by the D.P.O of Ladipo Police station mushin Lagos.
Sir, this has surely shown bias on the side of S.P Asemota of FCID Alagbon and also encouraging the belief of the public that Nigerian police Officer cannot be just especially when there is suspicion of bias by the officers if they have a particular interest to the other party involved in the matter and of which what is involved is purely a family matter, where the officers having to believe in a will that has not been read to the entire family members.
Sir, from the beginning of their investigation to the end, it was obvious that it was a family matter and of which I have done the right thing to have approached the court, and yet S.P TINA ASEMOTA out of bias in the matter encourage the assault on me by preventing investigation by the investigating officers at Ladipo Police Station Mushin Lagos to do their job.
My Prayers Sir
That S.P TINA ASEMOTA should allow the police station where the matter of Assault was reported to do their investigation properly.
That the last investigation by the force CID has been concluded and we have been advised to proceed and take our complaints to court, which I had done.
That she should not be used as a tool to stain the image of the police force.
This S.P. TINA ASEMOTA needs to be cautioned that she should stay clear from the family matter since all the people involved in collaboration against the other children of my father as to be served with the court papers by the court bailiff.
In conclusion Sir, I will be happy if this open letter is taken with utmost responses to keep the image of the Nigerian Police Force and discourage any officer with bad intention to adjust to the seriousness the police is meant to be.
THANKS.
Signed:
