Breaking News: Police Officer Abducted On Abuja Highway

A Nigeria Police Force officer, Modestus Ojiebe, was reportedly kidnapped by armed attackers along the Abuja-Kaduna Expressway. Sources revealed that while Ojiebe was fixing his vehicle, an ash-colored Mercedes-Benz with four armed individuals stopped behind him. The assailants searched and stole his and his wife’s mobile phones and ATM cards. After discovering Ojiebe’s police ID, they forced him into their vehicle and fled, leaving his wife behind with their car.

Following the incident, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Dawaki Division responded to a distress call and dispatched a patrol team to the area. Authorities have intensified stop-and-search operations at key entry and exit points in the Federal Capital Territory to rescue the officer and apprehend the perpetrators.
