BREAKING: Trump Is Dead

Maryanne Trump Barry, the older sister of Donald Trump, a former judge who had a falling out with him during the later stages of his presidency, has passed away at the age of 86 in New York, according to reports from US media on Monday.

Described as “both his protector and critic throughout their lives” by the New York Times, Barry, appointed to the Federal District Court in New Jersey by President Ronald Reagan in 1983, had a close relationship with Donald Trump for many years. She later served on the Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, appointed by President Bill Clinton in 1993.

Despite being in touch over recent years and meeting at one of Trump’s golf clubs in the summer of 2021, their relationship took a public turn in 2020 when recordings were released by Trump’s niece, Mary Trump. In these recordings, Barry was critical of the then-president, expressing concerns about his tweets, lies, lack of preparation, and absence of principles.

Following the release of the recordings, a probe into Barry’s alleged judicial misconduct was dropped when she retired in 2019, amid an investigation into the family’s tax records, which she denied.

No immediate comment was made by Trump, 77, who is aiming to reclaim the White House in the upcoming year, on Barry’s passing.
