Chairman Basic Education Board Suspended
Gov. Abubakar Bello of Niger has suspended the Chairman, Niger State Universal Basic Education Board, Isah Adamu, over anomalies in the operations of the board.
The suspension is contained in a letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Ahmed Matane.

“The suspension was necessitated by some observed anomalies in the operations of the board,” Mr Matane noted.
Government directed Mr Adamu to hand over the affairs of the board to the Permanent Member III on the board to enable full review of its operations for optimal growth.
