Davido Reveals Why He No Longer Allows 100 People Into His Home Like Before

According to Ireporter Online, the award-winning singer explained that he no longer maintains the large crowd that once surrounded him at home, saying his focus has shifted towards his family, career and creating a more productive environment.

Davido disclosed this during an interview with Vibe Magazine, where he explained that life has changed significantly since his earlier years in the music industry.

The singer said he now lives with his wife and children, making it difficult to continue having a large number of people in his residence as he did in the past.

He, however, clarified that reducing his inner circle does not mean abandoning his longtime friends. Davido said he continues to support those close to him by helping them establish businesses and become financially independent.

The Afrobeats star explained that he encourages people around him to pursue business opportunities rather than depend solely on his success.

Davido also revealed that he rewards individuals who bring business deals his way, stating that anyone responsible for securing a deal for him receives a percentage of the earnings.

“If you bring a deal for me, I’ll let you get your 10%. I don’t care if it’s $4 million. You get your 10% if you brought the deal,” he said.

The singer added that having a smaller and more focused circle has also transformed his creative process, especially during the production of his latest music project.

He explained that unlike before when recording sessions often involved many people and a party-like atmosphere, his recent work has required more discipline, concentration and fewer distractions.

Davido noted that the change in lifestyle has allowed him to focus better on his music while balancing his responsibilities as a husband, father and global entertainer.
