Dollar To Naira Exchange Rate Today, September 10, 2026
The Nigerian naira recorded a decline against the United States dollar at the official foreign exchange market on Wednesday, following a weaker performance compared with the previous trading day.
According to Ireporter Online, data released by the Central Bank of Nigeria showed that the naira exchanged at ₦1,329.2129 to the dollar on Wednesday.
The latest rate represents a decline from the ₦1,320.2469 recorded on Tuesday, indicating renewed pressure on the local currency at the official market.
At the parallel market, the naira was quoted at about ₦1,390 to the dollar at the close of trading on Tuesday.
Exchange rates offered by commercial banks, Bureau de Change operators and other authorised foreign exchange dealers may vary from official reference rates due to transaction margins and prevailing market conditions.
Market observers are expected to continue monitoring foreign exchange inflows, demand for the dollar and policy interventions by the Central Bank of Nigeria in the coming days.
The performance of the naira throughout the month will largely depend on developments in the foreign exchange market and whether increased dollar supply can help the local currency regain or sustain its value.
