The company expressed appreciation for customers’ patience and understanding during this period, reaffirming their commitment to delivering quality service and support.
Meanwhile, the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway construction project, spanning 700km, commenced on Monday. Minister of Works, David Umahi, outlined plans for the road, emphasizing its significance in enhancing connectivity between the North and South for the movement of people, goods, and services.
The construction, estimated to take eight years and costing N4 billion per km, totals N15 trillion. The initial phase, covering a 47.47km stretch from Victoria Island, Lagos, features five lanes on each side of the dual carriageway and includes a train track in the middle.
Hitech Construction Company is overseeing the superhighway’s construction, with part of the funding sourced by the contractors.
