Edo State Monarch To Okpebholo: Ensure Everyone Benefits From Your Leadership
In a statement released on Monday by Frank Irabor, Secretary of the Benin Traditional Council (BTC), the monarch expressed confidence in Okpebholo’s ability to deliver on his mandate, given his extensive experience as both a businessman and politician.
The Oba also offered prayers to God Almighty and his royal ancestors, seeking divine guidance for the governor to achieve greater success for the state.
The statement reads:
“His Royal Majesty has no doubt that His Excellency’s vast wealth of experience as a businessman and politician will enable him to excel in this position and fulfill his mandate to the Edo people at home and in the Diaspora.
“His Royal Majesty urges His Excellency to operate a government that is all-inclusive in order to enhance the welfare of all and sundry in the state.”
