Education Meets Excellence: Ogunbusola School Awards To Honour Brilliant Minds In Ibadan

According to Ireporter Online, preparations are underway for the fourth edition of the Olawale Ogunbusola School Competition and Awards, which will take place next week at the National Museum of Unity, Aleshinloye, Ibadan.

In a statement issued by the convener, Olawale Ogunbusola, the initiative aims to enhance pupils’ academic skills, build confidence, and foster both intellectual and social growth. Ogunbusola emphasized that the project represents a strong commitment to nurturing a new generation of informed, motivated, and responsible youths through education and the celebration of excellence.

The event will also honour distinguished individuals who have made notable contributions to their respective professions.

Dignitaries expected to grace the occasion include the Chief Press Secretary to Oyo State Governor, Dr. Sulaimon Olanrewaju, and the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the Senator representing Oyo Central, Kunle Olatunji, who will serve as co-chairmen.

Serving as Fathers of the Day are Dr. Babatunde Oruomeniowo, Chairman of Prince 89.7 FM, Ibadan, and Pastor Tayo Olatunji. The guest speakers lineup includes Professor Kehinde Ayantayo, a renowned scholar of Religion, Ethics, and Sociology at the University of Ibadan, alongside Dr. Anthony Adeniji and other respected academics.
