In a recent operation, operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Abuja Zonal Command, have arrested 29 individuals suspected of engaging in internet fraud. According to a statement released by the anti-graft agency, the apprehension of these suspects was based on actionable intelligence indicating their alleged involvement in internet fraud activities.

Among the items seized from the suspects were 43 phones of different makes, six vehicles, and two smartwatches. The EFCC emphasized that these individuals will be brought before the court as soon as investigations are concluded.
