In a statement released by Ibrahim Kana, the Permanent Secretary of the MoD in Abuja, the transfer of the APCs to Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Gen. Christopher Musa, signifies a commitment to bolstering the nation’s defence capabilities in the face of emerging security challenges.

Kana emphasized that the APCs will not only enhance the operational capabilities of the Nigerian Armed Forces but also provide troops with improved protection and mobility, enabling them to carry out their duties more effectively in safeguarding the nation’s sovereignty.

Gen. Christopher Musa, acknowledging the strategic importance of the APCs, highlighted their role in enabling swift and decisive responses to security threats. He commended the Ministry of Defence for its dedication to equipping troops with necessary resources to confront evolving security challenges.
