Ethics Enforcement At Lokoja University: Four Lecturers Dismissed For Serious Misconduct

The decision was made during the second council meeting, chaired by Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba, in Lokoja. The council commended the university’s management for its adherence to due process in investigating these allegations.

Emphasizing a zero-tolerance policy for unethical conduct, the council underscored that misconduct will not be tolerated within the institution. It also directed the university to expedite pending cases, especially one in the Faculty of Science that has drawn recent media attention.

The council urged all staff and lecturers to maintain ethical standards and encouraged students to report any instances of harassment.
