Usman revealed that Air Peace Ltd., Fly-Nas, Max Air, and UMZA Aviation Services Ltd. have been selected as official carriers for Nigerian pilgrims.

This decision follows a thorough screening process conducted by a 32-member Aviation Screening Committee, which included representatives from State Pilgrims’ Welfare Boards, Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), and other relevant agencies.

Prof. Usman highlighted that the selected airlines demonstrated the capacity to meet the demands of this year’s pilgrimage, with an emphasis on efficient service delivery.

Additionally, three excess cargo carriers—Aglow Aviation Support Services Ltd, Cargozeal Technology Ltd, and Qualla Investment Ltd.—were chosen to handle additional cargo requirements for the Hajj operations.

The NAHCON boss also signed the 2025 Hajj Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Jeddah, further solidifying the bilateral arrangements for this year’s pilgrimage.

This development aims to enhance the smooth transportation of pilgrims and ensure a seamless Hajj experience for all participants.
