Females Protest In Abuja To Reject Tinubu’s NDDC Appointee (DETAILS)
Opposition to the appointment of Asu Okang to the board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) continues to grow, with Cross River women in Abuja appealing to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to replace him.
The women conducted a peaceful protest in Abuja, expressing their dissatisfaction with Okang’s nomination.

They allege that Okang, a member of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), worked against the interests of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state during the last general election.
The protesters are demanding a more deserving APC stalwart from Cross River be appointed to the NDDC board.
