Potter disclosed that he raised concerns with co-owner Todd Boehly and other executives about Chelsea’s transfer strategy, emphasizing the need to offload players to maintain balance within the squad. Despite his recommendations, he felt his input was overlooked, leading to challenges in team management and training dynamics.

Reflecting on his efforts, Potter said, “At the end of the day, you’re the owner, responsible for the football club. My job is to support, but I tried to warn them about potential pitfalls.”
