Dotun has repeatedly expressed his frustration on social media, claiming he has been denied access to his daughters since the end of their marriage.

Taking to his X account, Skales condemned those allegedly involved in obstructing Dotun’s rights as a father. He also urged Dbanj to show better judgment in handling the situation.

In his post, Skales wrote:
“Men, this ain’t my problem, but I am a father, and it’s sad to see what my brother Dotun is going through… I don’t care who you are; if you support what is being done to my brother Dotun or are part of it… you are evil. I expect Dbanj to do better. This is so sad. I was almost in such a situation.”

In another development, Skales recently opened up about his music journey, clarifying that Wizkid, a former label mate, had not played a direct role in advancing his career.

While acknowledging the support of industry heavyweights such as Banky W, Olamide, Timaya, and Burna Boy, Skales addressed claims that Wizkid “made him.”

“Put some respect on my name… The only people who helped me were Olamide, Timaya, and Banky W… much respect to Burna. I respect Wizkid, but he never helped me.”
