FRSC Confirms Seven Dead In Ibadan-Iseyin Road Accident

Mr. Mayowa Odewo, the Public Relations Officer of FRSC, Oyo Sector Command, disclosed that the deceased comprised five adult males, one adult female, and one female child. Out of the 22 individuals involved in the accident, 15 sustained varying degrees of injuries.

Odewo attributed the crash, involving a Nissan Urvan commercial bus with registration number SEY 254 ZY and a Mazda commercial bus with registration number LGB 343 XA, to speeding and driver fatigue.

Of the 13 injured victims, including three adult males, nine adult females, and one female child, all have been transported to a nearby hospital for medical attention. As for the deceased, four have been claimed by their families, while the remaining three have been placed in a morgue.

The Motor Traffic Division of the MTD Police Division in Moniya, Ibadan, has taken possession of the two wrecked vehicles along
