The Sector Commander, Mr. Igwe Nnabuife, revealed to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abakaliki on Thursday that the suspects were nabbed following a lone accident involving a Ford Aspire bus on the Abakaliki-Enugu expressway.

According to Nnabuife, the incident occurred on February 13 at 1:44 p.m., involving a vehicle carrying nine passengers. While fortunately, no lives were lost, some passengers sustained injuries and were promptly taken to the hospital for medical attention.

“We were able to recover some of the money and other items stolen from the accident victims,” Nnabuife added.
