Fubara Breaks Down In Tears Over Shocking Recent Encounter!
Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara, shared an emotional moment during the inauguration of the Palace of Nyeweali Akpor Kingdom and the residential quarters for the King, built by his administration. Speaking at the event, Fubara narrated how a recent encounter deeply moved him to the point of shedding tears.
During a speech at the event, Fubara recounted that, 10 months ago, during the flag-off of the Okania-Ogbogoro Road reconstruction in Obio-Akpor Local Government Area, the community requested that a palace be built for the Nyeweali of Akpor Kingdom. Fubara expressed his happiness that his administration was able to fulfill this long-standing need, which had existed for over 200 years.
He was particularly moved when the Royal Father, Eze Levi Amos Oriebe, remarked that the Akpor Kingdom had functioned without a palace for centuries, and how Fubara’s administration had made this significant development possible, becoming part of the kingdom’s history forever.
Fubara also emphasized his commitment to continuing impactful governance and urged his supporters to remain peaceful and hopeful despite the ongoing political tensions in the state. He reassured them that despite challenges, his administration will not waver in its efforts to improve the well-being of Rivers State, promoting peace and unity.
