During the inauguration of a new automobile spare parts market in Port Harcourt, Governor Fubara addressed the controversy surrounding a circulating list purportedly representing the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Caretaker Committee members for the state. He unequivocally dismissed the list as fraudulent, attributing it to attention-seeking individuals aiming to sow discord, notably including names of Wike’s supporters.

Fubara clarified that the extension of Executive Councils within the PDP for three months, agreed upon during a recent meeting, was not intended to introduce new names or undermine the authority of the Governor. He assured that any lists circulating contrary to this agreement would not be recognized.

Referring to his warning issued the previous day, Governor Fubara hinted at the fear instilled in his detractors and vowed to maintain pressure on them, ensuring they remain uneasy. He emphasized the importance of peace for progress in Rivers State while affirming his administration’s commitment to safeguarding the region’s interests.
