Governor Sani Reacts To Kaduna Bomb Incident

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has issued a directive for a thorough investigation into the military air strike incident that occurred in Tudun Biri village on Sunday, resulting in the tragic loss of over 50 lives.

The villagers, who were observing the Maulud celebration, were mistakenly targeted and killed, with numerous others sustaining injuries during a military drone attack aimed at terrorists and bandits.

In a condolence statement addressed to the Tudun Biri community, Governor Sani expressed his deep sympathy over the unfortunate incident and affirmed his administration’s commitment to preventing a recurrence. He assured the citizens that their security and protection would remain a top priority in the ongoing effort against terrorists, bandits, and other criminal elements.

Governor Sani directed the immediate evacuation of the injured to the Barau Dikko Teaching Hospital for urgent medical attention, with the Kaduna State Government taking responsibility for their treatment and associated logistics. While urging the affected community and all state residents to remain calm, he appealed for continued support for the security forces and the state government in the collective fight against terrorists, bandits, kidnappers, and other criminal elements.

Additionally, the governor disclosed ongoing consultations with security agencies to ensure that such errors are avoided in future operations.
