Husband Who Denied Using Wife’s CS Money For Phone And Dog Faces Backlash Over Post Mocking Her After Childbirth
A man who denied accusations of using funds meant for his wife’s cesarean section to buy a phone and a dog is now facing backlash after a post he shared just days after his wife gave birth resurfaced…..read also Woman Seeks Help After Husband Allegedly Abandons Her In Lagos Hospital, Uses C-Section Money To Buy Phone And Dog
The man, known as Chu Dy on Facebook, and his wife recently welcomed their daughter on April 29, thanks to a generous donation of N500,000 from a Good Samaritan on Facebook to cover the cesarean section costs. However, the joy of their newborn was soon overshadowed by complications following childbirth, which kept Chu Dy’s wife in the hospital and prompted her to seek further financial help on Twitter on May 15.
In her plea for more donations, Chu Dy’s wife claimed that her husband misappropriated the initial donation, using part of it to purchase a phone and a dog instead of covering the medical expenses. She recounted how she had to rely on her husband’s sister to pay for the surgery when he was unreachable with the money.
Reacting to these allegations on May 16, Chu Dy took to Facebook to refute the claims. He asserted that his wife’s behavior towards him changed after receiving the N500,000 donation. He also disputed the amount she claimed to have given him, stating she only provided him with N100,000, which he used to pay for blood, tests, and medications, not the surgery.
However, a post from Chu Dy dated May 4 has since emerged, adding fuel to the controversy. In the post, shared while his wife was still in the hospital, he wrote: “If you want to know a woman, let much money come her way and little your way.” This statement has been interpreted by many as a veiled criticism of his wife, further complicating his position amid the accusations.
The resurfaced post has sparked a wave of criticism against Chu Dy, with many calling him out for seemingly shading his wife during a critical and vulnerable time. As the couple continues to navigate the challenges following their child’s birth, the public remains divided, with some questioning Chu Dy’s actions and others calling for a more nuanced understanding of the situation.

He added in the comment on the post: “The same women clamouring for equality.”

Other posts shared on Facebook while his wife was in the hospital show him trolling women.

He also made posts about women who are not submissive.
