The suspect, known only as Elisha, allegedly killed Edima and dismembered her body.
The gruesome incident occurred in a house along Atiku Abubakar Way in the Uyo metropolis.
Confirming the incident, ASP Timfon John, the spokesperson for the State Police Command, stated that an investigation has been initiated. “The suspect has been arrested, and the command has commenced an investigation into the murder. In the next couple of days, we will unravel the matter,” she added.
