Goal & Assist! Osimhen Leads Galatasaray To Victory

Victor Osimhen delivered another outstanding performance for Galatasaray on Saturday, scoring a goal and providing an assist as the Turkish champions came from behind to defeat Göztepe 3-2 in an entertaining Super Lig encounter at RAMS Park.

Göztepe stunned the home supporters by taking the lead in the 16th minute through Novatus Miroshi, who put the visitors in front after a strong opening spell.

Galatasaray responded before the break and eventually restored parity three minutes after the half-hour mark when defender Davinson Sánchez found the back of the net.

Ireporter Online reports that the hosts returned from the interval with renewed determination and completed the turnaround in the 55th minute.

Osimhen played a crucial role in the second goal, setting up Gabriel Sara, who calmly finished the opportunity to give Galatasaray a 2-1 advantage.

The Nigerian forward then got on the scoresheet eight minutes later after Galatasaray were awarded a penalty. Osimhen stepped up and confidently converted from the spot to extend his side’s lead to 3-1.

Göztepe refused to give up and quickly responded, with Juan reducing the deficit in the 65th minute to set up a tense final period at RAMS Park.

The visitors pushed for a late equaliser, but Galatasaray managed to withstand the pressure and held on to secure all three points.

Osimhen’s contribution proved decisive, with the Nigerian striker directly involved in two of Galatasaray’s three goals.

The 27-year-old has now scored five goals in three league appearances for Galatasaray this season, further strengthening his reputation as one of the club’s leading attacking threats.
