Ibadan Polytechnic May Resume Exams on Monday Amid Strike

The institution’s Public Relations Officer, Soladoye Adewole, confirmed the update on Friday, noting that exams were unlikely to resume immediately due to the absence of many students who had stayed away during the strike.
A lecturer, who spoke anonymously, also mentioned that many students were unaware of the strike’s suspension, making Monday a more feasible date for the exams to resume.
The strike had been called over the non-payment of minimum wages and other arrears, leading to a halt in academic activities, including examinations.
