IPFLOA Founder Calls for P-Square Brothers’ Reconciliation

The founder of the Initiative for Peace, Forgiveness and Love for One Another (IPFLOA), Ambassador Kingsley Atoe, has appealed to Nigerian music stars Peter and Paul Okoye of the former P-Square duo to put aside their differences and rebuild their relationship as brothers.

According to Ireporter Online, Atoe made the appeal in a message directed at the estranged siblings, urging them to let go of their disagreements, hurt and bitterness and restore the bond that existed between them.

The call comes amid renewed attention on the long-running dispute between the Okoye brothers. Peter and Paul had reunited in 2021 after their initial split but reportedly fell out again in 2024 over disagreements surrounding their music business and issues involving their elder brother, Jude Okoye.

Atoe urged the brothers to reflect on their childhood years, the struggles they experienced together and the journey that led to the creation of P-Square, one of Nigeria’s most successful music duos.

He noted that their achievements were built on their shared talent, determination and common vision, stressing that their bond as brothers should be more important than their disagreements.

The IPFLOA founder specifically called on each of the siblings to take the first step towards reconciliation, saying their relationship should not be permanently damaged by their differences.

He also reminded Peter and Paul of the influence they have had on millions of fans, particularly young people who followed their rise from humble beginnings to international stardom.

Atoe argued that a reconciliation between the brothers would send a powerful message that disagreements do not have to permanently destroy relationships. He encouraged them to demonstrate that forgiveness, love and peace can overcome deep conflicts.

He further urged the singers to consider reconciliation as a legacy that could surpass their music, awards and other professional accomplishments, describing forgiveness and peace as their greatest possible achievement.

The appeal comes amid other calls for the Okoye brothers to resolve their differences and restore unity within the family. Atoe prayed that their wounds would heal, bitterness would disappear and the siblings would eventually find a path back to one another.

He concluded by encouraging Peter and Paul to reunite and show their fans that brotherly love, forgiveness and peace can triumph over even the most difficult disagreements.
