“Keep Scoring And I’ll Stop Talking,” Mikel Obi Challenges Jackson
Former Chelsea and Nigerian international, Mikel Obi has delivered a sharp retort to Chelsea striker, Nicholas Jackson, declaring, “Keep scoring and I’ll shut up.”
The comment follows recent tensions between the two, with Obi’s bold statement likely to fuel ongoing debates.
Obi disclosed this in his Monday podcast, The Obi One.
Ireporteronline Online earlier reported that Mikel, 37, aimed for Jackson’s goal-scoring prowess on beIN Sport during Chelsea’s 2-0 loss to Manchester City last weekend.
He had partly said, “We created chances, we haven’t taken them. And just an example of how Jackson finishes.”
Meanwhile, the Senegalese striker, in response to that, responded in an Instagram post.
“Mikel Obi, shut your mouth, don’t talk sh*t, we are killing ourselves for Africa,” Jackson wrote in a post on Instagram, making his feelings about the criticism clear.
