Kwara State Government Issues Warning Against Illegal Charges For Common Entrance Exam

Hajia Sa’adatu Modibbo Kawu, the Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development, emphasized during a meeting in her office in Ilorin that the common entrance exam is free, and any form of extortion from pupils will not be tolerated. She reiterated that the examination is fully sponsored by the state government.

Hajia Modibbo Kawu urged school administrators to uphold integrity and avoid actions that could tarnish the reputation of the state government. Additionally, she cautioned against involvement in examination malpractices, stating that the current administration has a zero-tolerance policy for such misconduct.

The commissioner encouraged parents and guardians to report any suspicious activities by principals or head teachers directly to her office, emphasizing the accessibility of her office to everyone.
