Lady Dies In Tragic Boat Incident In Lagos
Tragedy struck as a lady identified as Nimotalahi Ishola Folashade reportedly drowned after jumping off a boat in Lagos on Saturday, March 9……READ ALSO BREAKING: Former First Lady Dies In Nigeria
According to police sources, Ms. Ishola was one of twelve passengers on a boat journey from Isuti jet in Igando, Lagos state, destined for Totowu in Ogun state.
The captain of the boat recounted that while navigating through the river, Folashade unexpectedly removed her life jacket and plunged into the water. Among the items found in her bag were a bottle of insecticide, an ALimosho General Hospital card, and some medications.
Authorities were promptly alerted to the incident, and efforts are underway to recover her body from the river.
