Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway: FG Unveils Massive N18bn Compensation Plan For Affected Properties

Umahi assured that compensation payments would be finalized within 10 days for those listed, as he addressed stakeholders in a recent engagement concerning Sections 1 and 2 of the coastal road project.
The minister, citing legal obligations, stated that all processes are being handled transparently, with detailed records of affected properties to be publicly shared. He also noted that the project has encountered legal challenges and delays, which will be resolved in court as necessary.
