Hundeyin clarified that Nigerian aviation regulations stipulate the necessity of obtaining a permit from the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) for operating drones weighing over 250 grams anywhere within the country.

While acknowledging the officers’ compliance with the law, Hundeyin denounced their attempt to extort the drone operator, evident in the video’s concluding segment. He underscored the unacceptable nature of such behavior.

Consequently, Lagos Police Commissioner CP Adegoke Fayoade has instructed the Commanding Officer of 49 PMF Akodo, responsible for overseeing the officers assigned to the bridge, to present the implicated officers for appropriate disciplinary action.
