The court heard that Abdulhamid received the stolen goods from Mohammed Awalu, a security guard to the complainant, Mrs. Omolola Idowu, at her residence on Captain Davies Road, Ayobo, Lagos, in June 2023. Awalu, who is serving a jail term for the same offenses, collaborated with Abdulhamid and other accomplices to steal Idowu’s property while she was away.
