LP Declares Edo State Capital Of Obidient Movement, Cites Overwhelming Support
The Labour Party (LP) has designated Edo State as the capital of its supporters, the Obidient Movement, within Nigeria. During a campaign road walk in major cities of Edo to promote its gubernatorial candidate, Olumide Akpata, Ifoh emphasized the significance of Edo as the stronghold of the Obidient Movement. The movement, which emerged ahead of the 2023 general election, comprises young Nigerians who advocate for change and see hope in LP Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi. The LP urges fair play in the upcoming election, emphasizing the importance of representing the will of the people.
