Netherlands Set To Invest $250 Million In Nigeria

Rutte expressed confidence in Tinubu’s administration, stating that Dutch investors were eager to engage with Nigeria under his leadership. A significant portion of the planned investment, amounting to $100 million, will be allocated to establish a waste-to-wealth industrial facility in Lagos State.
Acknowledging Tinubu’s decisive actions on issues like fuel subsidies and other reforms, Rutte commended the Nigerian leader’s leadership qualities and early-term policy initiatives. He highlighted Tinubu’s proactive stance within the ECOWAS region, emphasizing his commitment to effective governance.
In response, President Tinubu assured the Dutch Prime Minister of Nigeria’s readiness for increased business collaboration. He underscored Nigeria’s rich lithium deposits as a lucrative investment opportunity for Dutch investors.
Tinubu’s visit to the Netherlands, accompanied by his delegation, marks a three-day engagement aimed at fostering bilateral ties and exploring avenues for mutually beneficial partnerships between Nigeria and the Netherlands.
