“Nigeria Is Safer Under Tinubu Than Ever Before” – Presidential Aide Daniel Bwala Declares
According to Ireporter Online, the Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, has asserted that Nigerians are now significantly safer than they were before Tinubu assumed office in 2023.
Speaking during an interview on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics, Bwala stated that incidents such as prison breaks and large-scale kidnappings, which were widespread in previous years, have drastically reduced since President Tinubu took charge.
The presidential aide maintained that citizens now move freely across the country without the same level of fear that once gripped them. While acknowledging that isolated cases of insecurity still occur, Bwala argued that Nigeria’s overall security situation has improved remarkably under Tinubu’s leadership.
He said, “Nigerians are superlatively safer today than they were before 2023. Back then, we experienced frequent prison breaks, even in Abuja, and daylight kidnappings were common. Since President Bola Tinubu came on board, there have been no prison breaks. People are now going about their businesses peacefully across the nation. Although there are occasional security challenges, that is not unusual anywhere in the world.”
Bwala further compared Nigeria’s crime rate to that of the United States, claiming that “the crimes committed in America in one day are more than those committed in Nigeria.”
He added that Tinubu’s administration remains committed to sustaining the progress made in restoring security and ensuring that Nigerians continue to live and work without fear.
