Nigeria Students Stranded At Ukraine Call For Desperate Help, Says All Exits Blocked
Nigerian students still trapped in Ukraine have called out for desperate help stating that all exit routes have been blocked as no trains and buses are moving in or out.
A student from Sumy State University says the situation is pathetic and they desperately need help.
“Good evening
Please help us students in Sumy State University, Sumy, Ukraine. We are stocked, all exits are blocked. No trains and buses moving in or out. Most of us want to leave, please we need help. Thank you.”
Another parent has called on well-meaning individuals the Federal Government and international organisations to please wade into their crisis and help rescue their children who went to Ukraine to school.
“Our children went to Ukraine for educational purposes and not for business, these children are too young for what they are experiencing now, we have them in their teens and twenties. Pls help us to get them out, they are eager to come home we are awaiting their returns, Insha Allah”
One Nigerian student claimed on Twitter: ‘We are currently at the Ukraine -Poland border. Their Police and Army refused to let Africans cross they only allow Ukrainian.
All the relevant authorities should do the needful to help rescue our stranded children in Ukraine.
