Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) for fulfilling its promise to revive the facility. However, he emphasized that Nigerians are now waiting for the refinery’s impact on petrol prices and the broader economy.

Obi stated on his X handle that while the resumption of operations at the refinery, with a capacity of 60,000 barrels per day, is a positive step, the public deserves clear answers about the benefits. He also highlighted the potential of the revived Kaduna refinery to boost the nation’s economic situation. “Nigerians deserve transparency in how oil resources are managed to ensure that the benefits of increased refining capacity are felt nationwide,” he said.
