No Defeat In Sight For Tinubu In 2027 – APC Forum Confident Of Second Term

a second term in 2027. Zazzaga, speaking in Abuja on January 3, 2025, expressed unwavering confidence that Nigerians will overwhelmingly endorse Tinubu for re-election due to the transformative impact of his policies.
Zazzaga’s declaration comes as a direct response to recent comments by Hashimu Suleiman Dungurawa, chairman of the Kano State New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), who predicted defeat for Tinubu in 2027. Dungurawa, in an interview on January 2, 2025, warned that the President’s policies, particularly those deemed harsh on the masses, would lead to his downfall in the upcoming election.
However, Zazzaga dismissed these claims, affirming that the APC, under Tinubu’s leadership, will secure another term in office. He highlighted Tinubu’s bold reforms, such as the removal of the fuel subsidy and the floating of the Naira, as necessary actions for the nation’s long-term prosperity.
“There’s no magic that can prevent Tinubu from winning in 2027,” Zazzaga declared. “These courageous decisions were essential for Nigeria’s growth, and by 2027, Nigerians will see the positive results of these policies.”
Zazzaga went on to laud Tinubu’s ability to take the tough decisions that previous governments shied away from. He explained that, even now, Nigerians are already experiencing the benefits of these reforms, including a strengthened Naira, increased oil production, and rising foreign reserves. As time goes on, the reduction in petroleum product costs is expected to alleviate inflation and ease the nation’s economic struggles.
Tinubu’s policies in the petroleum sector, Zazzaga added, have already tackled scarcity, and he believes that by 2027, the nation’s economic recovery will be clear for all to see, securing his re-election.
Furthermore, Zazzaga emphasized that Tinubu’s pro-poor tax reforms and investment in infrastructure were already making a tangible difference, particularly in the North-Central region, where significant projects have been launched. Zazzaga also praised Tinubu’s leadership in improving security, which has enabled farmers in the region to return to their farms with greater safety.
“The North-Central APC Forum has assessed the President’s performance, and we believe no other leader has done more for the region or Nigeria as a whole,” Zazzaga concluded. “We’re fully committed to supporting Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.”
With this strong backing from the North-Central APC Forum, it’s clear that the party is gearing up for a full-force campaign to ensure Tinubu’s continued leadership in the years ahead.
