Okowa Breaks Silence: First Public Outing Since EFCC Arrest And Passport Seizure

Okowa, who was released on November 8 after his passport was seized, was accompanied by Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, the PDP state chairman Solomon Arenyenka, and other political and security dignitaries. The service of songs took place at Obielum’s residence on Wednesday, November 13.

Pastor Ifeanyi Ogude of Heaven Bound Christian International Church delivered a sermon at the event, urging people to live meaningful lives and leave lasting legacies. Mrs. Obielum passed away at the age of 87 on June 20, 2024, and will be buried on Saturday, November 16, at Obielum’s residence in Ushie, Ndokwa East Local Government Area.
