In a statement issued on Thursday, Onyike explained that his decision to join the APC stemmed from his support for Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, praising the governor’s efforts to restore good governance and inclusive politics in the state. Onyike expressed that his move was driven by the need to strengthen the state’s leadership and foster a peaceful political environment under Governor Nwifuru. The Chairman of APC in Owutu Edda Ward, Mr. Oko Ogbuagu, welcomed Onyike’s arrival, emphasizing that his addition to the party would positively impact future elections in the state.
