Okpebholo Appoints Hon. Bankole-Balogun  As Edo Revenue Board Chairman

Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, has named Hon. Oladele Bankole-Balogun as the new Executive Chairman of the Edo State Board of Internal Revenue.

This appointment, announced by Musa Ikhilor, Secretary to the State Government, is expected to leverage Hon. Bankole-Balogun’s extensive academic and professional expertise. He holds a BSc in Political Science from the University of Ibadan, an LLB in Law from the University of London, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the College of Law, Store Street, London.

Hon. Bankole-Balogun brings a wealth of experience, having worked across diverse fields such as law, politics, and business with reputable organizations within and beyond Nigeria. Politically, he has served as a candidate for the House of Representatives election in Akoko Edo Federal Constituency and is a member of the APC Campaign Council for the 2024 Edo Governorship elections.

In addition to Hon. Bankole-Balogun’s appointment, other Executive Directors for the Edo State Board of Internal Revenue were also named. These include Deacon Idiake Patrick Akhimien (Edo Central), Hon. Mike Ohio Ezomo (Edo North), and Hon. Engr. Jackson Eribo (Edo South).
