According to Ireporter Online, Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, has described Auchi Kingdom as a peaceful and one of the most progressive communities in the state, citing its stability and cohesive leadership structure.

The governor made the remarks during the 29th Auchi Day Celebration of Allah Most High, held in Auchi, the headquarters of Etsako West Local Government Area. The colourful event also featured the presentation of a book titled “Otaru Aliru Momoh of Auchi Sacred Kingdom” to distinguished guests.

Represented by the Commissioner for Labour and Productivity, Godwin Eshieshe, the governor credited the long reign of the Otaru of Auchi, Aliru Momoh, with entrenching peace, unity and administrative stability in the kingdom. He congratulated the traditional ruler on marking 30 years on the throne and celebrating his 92nd birthday, describing the milestones as a testament to purposeful leadership.

Governor Okpebholo noted that while several communities grapple with internal disputes and agitations, Auchi Kingdom has remained united due to the Otaru’s firm commitment to harmony and good governance. He added that the prevailing cohesion has positioned the community on a steady path of growth and development.
