In a bold statement, former presidential aide Reno Omokri has stirred controversy by suggesting strict criteria for government aid in Nigeria, stating that only specific demographics should receive financial support.

During an interview with TVC, Omokri argued that President Bola Tinubu’s administration should allocate funds exclusively to school children, pregnant women, the elderly, and the disabled. He asserted that individuals outside these categories should either seek employment, engage in agriculture, or face dire consequences.

Omokri emphasized the need to abandon expectations of returning to previous exchange rates, attributing past stability to unsustainable measures by the Central Bank of Nigeria.
