Sowunmi argued that having multiple spokespersons without a clear leader is ineffective. He raised concerns about the confusion this could cause, particularly in situations where quick responses are needed, questioning who would be responsible for delivering important news or acting as the official point of contact.

ireporteronline reported earlier that Bayo Onanuga, a presidential media aide, confirmed that Tinubu now has three spokespersons, a shift from the previous arrangement where Ajuri Ngelale served as the sole spokesperson. Onanuga also announced changes to Daniel Bwala’s role, naming him the Special Adviser on Policy Communications instead of the Special Adviser on Media and Public Communications.
