The appointment, disclosed by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, heralds a new chapter in the distinguished career of Ibrahim Khalil Gaga, who brings to the role a wealth of experience and expertise in the banking sector and legal services.
Prior to his elevation, Gaga served as the Board Secretary and Legal Adviser of NEXIM Bank, where his profound insights and strategic acumen contributed significantly to the institution’s success.
A seasoned lawyer with over 25 years of professional experience, Ibrahim Khalil Gaga is a graduate of Bayero University, Kano, holding an LLB Degree in Law and a BL from the Nigerian Law School. He further honed his skills with a Master of Law degree from Lagos State University and a postgraduate Diploma in Management from the National Open University.
Gaga’s illustrious career spans across esteemed institutions such as Liberty Bank Plc, Pacific Bank Limited, MBC International Bank Limited, First Bank of Nigeria Plc, Fidelity Bank Plc, and ASO Savings & Loans Plc. His diverse skill set encompasses litigation, recovery, security documentation, risk administration, and company secretarial practice, making him a formidable asset to NEXIM Bank.
As he assumes his new role, Ibrahim Khalil Gaga stands poised to leverage his extensive experience and visionary leadership to drive innovation, foster collaboration, and propel NEXIM Bank to greater heights of excellence in service delivery and economic development.
