PRP Demands Probe Into Alleged Budget Padding, Denounces Misconduct

In a statement issued by the party’s acting National Publicity Secretary, Muhammed Ishaq, on Sunday, PRP expressed deep concern over the potential adverse effects of such actions on the economy, developmental objectives, and the general welfare of the populace.
The party emphasized the vital role of Parliament in ensuring factual appropriation and funding aligned with the budget office’s provisions, stressing the need for judicious utilization of public funds to advance citizens’ interests.
PRP called for an immediate investigation into the alleged budget padding, urging authorities to hold accountable all individuals involved in any form of malfeasance.
Furthermore, the opposition party urged the National Assembly to diligently scrutinize the budget to ensure its alignment with the nation’s best interests and underscored the paramount importance of elected officials prioritizing public service with integrity and honesty.
