Ramadan: Moses Omo-Ikirodah Felicitates With Muslims, Call For Prayers For Peace And Unity

As Nigerian Muslims join their counterparts all over the world to commence this year’s Ramadan fast, frontline House of Reps aspirant for Etsako Federal Constituency, Engineer Moses Omo Ikirodah has enjoined Muslims to be obedient, more prayerful and seek divine intervention for peace to reign over the Nation.

Moses Omo-Ikirodah bemoaned the current challenges faced both nationally and internationally stating that the past few years have been quite challenging with the continuous battle against the deadly coronavirus, a global economic downturn coupled with war threats arising from the Russain/Ukraine crisis, and the helpless escalating insecurity across the Nation.

Reminding Muslims that fasting in Ramadan is one of the five pillars of Islam, Moses harped on the need for Muslims to practise the true tenets of Islam and shun evil in every ramification.

“Ramadan is a holy month, a month of blessing, we need to pray for peace across our Nation, it is unfortunate that the country is faced with a plethora of security challenges, it is imperative we intensify our prayers for peace and stability to reign.

We must refocus on Allah, purify the soul, strengthen family ties and must help the needy who are the less privileged amongst us. It is the month of conviviality and sharing, which is the true spirit of Ramadan.

Moses also called on the Muslim faithful to offer special prayers as the general elections approach stating that peace and unity must prevail in our beloved country.

“I congratulate all my Muslim brothers and sisters for the successful commencement of this year’s fasting in the holy month of Ramadan.

May this year’s Ramadan mark the turning point in our Nation, and may God in His infinite goodness and mercy grant our prayers”
