Real Reason I Dumped Farida Sobowale After ‘N100m Wedding’ – Estranged husband, Odulaja

Demola Odulaja, the former spouse of Farida Abdulkabir, also known as Farida Sobowale, the CEO of House of Phreedah Body Care, has provided insight into the reasons behind their separation shortly after their lavish wedding that lasted only about two months.

In an interview conducted by a Yoruba social commentator, ArewaTopeFamous, via Instagram Live on Tuesday, Odulaja accused Sobowale of being promiscuous, deceitful, and covetous, among other things.

Sobowale had reportedly contemplated jumping into the lagoon at the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos following the failure of their marriage, but she was restrained by passersby on Thursday.

Odulaja clarified that his association with Sobowale had spanned around 20 years but had grown unstable due to her “unrestrained and promiscuous lifestyle.”

He recounted instances when Sobowale was engaged in simultaneous intimate relationships with multiple men, including himself, before they eventually married. He also revealed that she frequently visited his brother’s place, staying for hours without any apparent reason.

Addressing Sobowale’s accusations against him and her labeling him as a gigolo, Odulaja stated, “I am very wealthy. I reside in a 22-bedroom mansion in Gbagada. I am not a gigolo. I come from a prosperous family and have been flying first class for a long time. People in London know me well.”

He further disclosed, “When I returned to Nigeria from London in 2009, Farida met me in Lagos in 2010. During that same year, I took her to China to start an importation business, which eventually yielded results and marked the beginning of her travels.”

Odulaja acknowledged that he had maintained a relationship with Sobowale even when she was married to her ex-husband, Tunde Sobowale, with whom she has three children. However, he did not comment on the rumored N100 million wedding that Sobowale allegedly funded on her own.
